October is Professional Photographers of America Charities’ Family Portrait Month. We are participating in Family portrait month with a special promotion.  During October of 2009 make any donation of  $25.00 or more to PPA Charities to benefit Operation Smile and receive a free session and 11×14 print.  Help us bring hope to the families of children suffering from cleft lips, cleft palates and other facial deformities.  This is a great time to use this promotion for your session to get your holiday card family portraits.

The date to enter portrait submissions has passed, but there’s still time to
rally the final vote and raise more money for charity, as well as voting to
keep your model in the standings. If you’ve been putting off placing your
vote, please do so now. Also, please urge your family and friends to vote.
The contest selects America’s Cutest Kid, and the winning child receives
great prizes, including a $5,000 US Savings Bond and a Canon PowerShot G10
digital camera. Remember, each dollar generated by votes goes toward
providing infant bereavement photography to parents who have lost a child.
