CONTEST – GIMME SOME FREE STUFF, DUDE!

“Strange things are afoot at the Circle K, Ted.” Well, it’s the oval with the K.E.P. inside to be exact. And it’s not strange, so much as just really cool and exciting. As many of you may (or may not) know, the studio is on the verge of being completed and although we have been using it some already, we are making improvements every day. Along with our new digs, we are also sporting a brand new look! This is true of our promotional materials as well as our website. So we decided to share in our excitement with everyone, and the new website allows everyone to interact and take part in our fantastic transformation. Now it’s going to take a small bit of effort on your part to help in the launch of this novel undertaking but relax there will be reward for your efforts!

We are offering up a plethora of goodies. OK, seven different goodies but who’s really counting. They are:

· $20 Starbucks Card

· $15 I Tunes Card

· Florida Landscape A Picture Book by A Clyde Butcher

· FREE half hour “mini” photo session w/prints ($125 Value)

· Yes Man” on DVD

· An 8 x 10 “Antique Lace” Picture Frame (from our very own custom framing gallery)

· $25 Applebee’s Gift Card

We know what you are thinking…how do I get my hands on all this great stuff?!?!?!?

Well, here’s all you need to do: Just go to www.katseyephoto.net. Take some time and check out the galleries and things because you’ll need to know about them for later, then click the link that says “BLOG” and leave us a comment under this Contest Post. In your comment we would like you tell us what you think of the new website (see we told you it would come into play later) and also please tell us your favorite location in SWFL to have your photo taken. This can be someplace you have already been and taken photos of, or maybe just someplace that you have seen a picture of and really want to have your photo there too. We want to know what the great people of SWFL think is the best photo op spot around. (Besides the new K.E.P. Studio of course)

That’s all you need to do! Your completed comment gets you entry into our contest and a chance to win one of the great prizes listed above. Oh, and while your at the site, please read down the blog and check out the photos, you might just like what you see there! The contest runs until September 15, 2009. Winners will be randomly chosen on September 15th and posted on the blog by September 16th at 5 P.M.

We hope to see lots of comments! So good luck, have fun and thank you for helping make the launch of the new Kats Eye Photography so exciting for all of us!

Ciao,

Kathy & Seth

I don’t really no what to say about the ‘new’ website, cause I never saw the ‘old’ website. But, I do love the website. I wish I would have gone to you for my senior photos. My mom really wanted me to go to Nickolson’s because she saw some of their photos and they turned out okay, but I never got around to showing her any of your work. I’ve never done any shoots, and I’ve never really had my picture taken at the beach, but pictures always turn out great when they’re taken on the beach. Couples holding hands, little kids, families, single people. Pictures are always so beautiful on the beach, especially at sunset <3

Thanks Ashlee! Bummer I didn’t get to do your senior photos, I would have loved that…..but
I was thinking about having a “facebook party” at the studio one night so maybe if you can attend I can still take some fun pics of you :)

Hey Kathy, I REALLY LOVE the new site. I found it to be very easy to navigate. And the colors, WOW, they make your images just pop out of the monitor. I am really happy that things are going so well with the new site and the studio. I don’t need pic’s of me taken, for good reason, but I know a certain 19 year old girl that might want to have a few of her done. She always like the pictures that you do in the fields with the tall grass. I don’t know where that is but it looks very nice in the photo’s you have. Hope things keep moving up for you and talk to you soon.

The Katseye Website is so full of color and great shots of everyday people turned artisitc for a day. I absolutely love it. Content is critical in a website and I am able to go to everything I need (where’s the order page? I’m sure it’s easy to find, I just can’t find it!) quickly and without confusion. If I had to do it all again, I would have photos taken at the Edison Complex in Fort Myers. They have beautiful gardens, unique homes, huge trees, and the water all at one location. I would love a picture sitting in one of the old time rockers on the porch of where Edison used to live. I wonder if you can take photos there… Thank you for the work in this site, it shows!

    Dear Kathy,
You are blessed with a gift for capturing not only the person and the moment, but the real feelings behind the picture. You are a true artist! I wish you the very best – you desire it.

Everything looks really great Ms Kathy :) . I love the victorian look of the site and the simplicity. You have the galleries organized really well and the way the pictures are lined up on the left makes them really easy to look at without getting overwhelemed! Everything looks beautiful; congrats on all the new developments! I really like the sunflower field that you took pictures of Leah at and I think that is one of the neatest sites for pictures I’ve seen

  8. Angie Says:

I love the site and those wedding photos are AWESOME!!! favorite spot for photos is boca grande beach of course near the light house and then worden farm…. no surprise there.

  9. Mike Martin Says:

    hey Kathy,

I think the new site looks great but you need more pictures of Gabby on here. :)

seriously, i think it looks great. perhaps darken the letters a bit or something so they stand out and make the words easier to read & that was nitpicking. this is a well done site. :)
