A visit from Sandy Puc

Tuesday, June 2nd, 2009

sandy1As a part of  winning the “Americas Cutest Kid” contest cutest little Leah, her family and I received a visit from Sandy Puc and videographer Brandon for an interview for Photovison.  This was super exciting for me and I think for little Leah too, who enjoyed playing with Sandy during our photo shoot.  We had a very busy day which started early with a photo shoot out at Worden farms.  Thank you Eva and Chris for sharing your beautiful farm and awesome tractor with us. We later did an interview at the new Four Points Hotel in downtown Punta Gorda and went out to lunch.  Little miss Leah continued to be the cutest kid through out the busy day.  Seth and I continued with studio shopping and advice from Sandy and Brandon.  This was an absolutely awesome experience for us.  We are truly appreciative of them sharing thier time, talent, creativity, energy, experiences and advice.  Lots of prizes are on the way too.   We are truy honored and humbled by this experience.

Canon EOS 5D Mark II camera and lens $3,499.00

Various other prizes including lighting kit, backdrops, frames, albums, props, and more up to $6,500.00

Savings Bond for little Leah $5,000.00

NILMDTS charity funds raised $164,000.00

A visit from Sandy Puc : PRICELESS!

Leah enters final round of “Americas cutest kid” contest

Friday, April 17th, 2009

leahblog1As you may know, I recently participated in the first National Charity Model Search. The contest’s goal was to discover America’s cutest kid and to raise money for charity.click here.

It was a huge success, 2,000 model’s images were submitted to the contest, and most importantly, the competition raised $164,775 for the Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep (NILMDTS) foundation.

The competition was so much fun.  We were thrilled to enter our community’s cutest kids into the contest.  The feedback from clients has been overwhelmingly positive. People were enthusiastic about my philanthropic efforts to partner with NILMDTS. So many folks have experienced the loss of a child or know someone who has. Raising money for NILMDTS was an effort everyone supported.

The 50 finalists have been selected and one of our models, cute little Leah is among them. Photography and modeling industry experts will select the grand prize winner, which will be announced on May 1st. Good luck to Leah in the final round! The finalist gallery is available for viewing – just

This has been such a positive experience that we plan on participating in the National Charity Model Search next year. I hope that just as many of you step up to partner with me in this fun endeavor, and that we raise even more money for NILMDTS in 2010.

The contest selects America’s Cutest Kid, and the winning child receives
great prizes, including a $5,000 US Savings Bond and a Canon PowerShot G10
